I have added this edit to the Fluoroscopy section:

"Recently introduced magnification fluoroscopy descibed in US patent 7,426,258 combines a fine grain scintillator with a non-demagnifying image intensifier and zoom optical system to achieve resolution of 10 to 15 line pairs per millimeter at relatively low dose radiation levels." The actual technology can be seen at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNBIJo9La7I Since the maximum field of view is 50 mm diameter, it is primarily used in small animal research.
