Zoobomb is a bicycling activity in which participants ride small children's bicycles downhill rapidly, with the aid of gravity. Other bike styles, both standard and non-standard (e.g. tall bikes, swing bikes, assacares (modified scooters), choppers, non-functional, etc.), may be substituted.

This practice, which began in Portland, Oregon around the Fall of 2002, constitues riders (or "zoobombers") meeting every Sunday night at a local pizza parlor before riding the TriMet MAX (with their bikes) to the Oregon Zoo stop (hence the name). From there, they ride their bikes down large hills.

The term zoobomb can be used as either a verb or a noun, and is often shortened to simply bomb, much to the chagrin of local law enforcement authorities.

There are several annual events hosted by zoobomb, including :

  • Zoobomb Century in June
  • MiniBikeWinter in February
  • Zoobomb Summer Olympics (aka BiffDay) in August
