Burg?

Is "burg" the appropriate term here? Or is it just the transliteration of Spanish "burgo"? If it is right, it should be linked to the Wikipedia article Burgo - which doesn't exist! So, either "burg" is wrong and needs to be changed, or it is right and there needs to be an article on the term. I have found "burg" in an English dictionary but that is not proof that the term is appropriate for this context, and it rather sounds like it wouldn't be:

"1. town: a city or town (informal) 2. ancient fortress: an ancient fortress or walled town" (Microsoft® Encarta® Reference Library 2003. © 1993-2002 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.)

This article definitely needs the attention of a proficient historian (which I am not, unfortunately). --A R King (talk) 15:29, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
