The Candles are an American rock band formed in New York City in 2008.[1]

Fronted by Josh Lattanzi, The Candles encapsulates the varied styles and influences he picked up while recording and touring with the likes of Ben Kweller, Albert Hammond, Jr. (The Strokes) and The Lemonheads.[2][3][4][5]

Their debut album Between the Sounds was recorded by Josh Lattanzi with help from John David Kent in between tours with Albert Hammond, Jr., Tinted Windows (band) and various studio gigs. The Candles signed with The End Records in January 2010.

In 2012, Candles members Josh Lattanzi, Jason Roberts and Pete Remm joined Norah Jones[6][7]band to help her tour in support of her album Little Broken Hearts.
