I just noted that the view from above has different crane than the side view. I am not sure but I think above view is correct because it has the crane as it was when Yamato was built. At least I haven't seen any text which would mention that there was a modification of the crane. It is a truth that some photos taken during operation Ten-Go hasn't the high crane as in earlier photos, but the crane may be destroyed in aerial attacks. And what comes to the article Japanese battleship Yamato in English Wikipedia, there is also a discrepancy between this picture and the article: in picture there is 152 25 mm AA-guns, but in text 162. --84.249.89.206 (talk) 14:39, 18 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
