Lrytas.lt (news website) – is one of the largest Lithuanian news websites in "Lithuania", with an audience of 1 million visitors per month online and more than 300 thousand visitors via mobile devices (January, 2013). It is part of the Lietuvos ryto grupė media company, which consists of "Lietuvos Rytas" daily newspaper, Lrytas.lt website, LRT TV station, and a printing house "Lietuvos ryto spaustuvė".
Company development
Company development (history) – Lrytas.lt started operations in 1997 as an online distribution platform for "Lietuvos Rytas" newspaper, becoming a separate company and live news website in 2006.
Online video services began in June of 2008 and later evolved into a separate co-site – tv.lrytas.lt.
Lrytas.lt's mobile version m.lrytas.lt went live the same day that Apple launched its iPhone product in Lithuania.
