Salted profile

'This profile need not be salted, but it must be an animated function'. What is a salted profile? What is an animated function?

Added by another: Yeah, that's what I came in to "Talk" to ask too! I think salted is a mistake... And I (a mechanical engineer) personally have never heard of an "animated function".

MERGE
