Sujata Madhok

Sujata Madhok is an Indian activist and devlopmentaljournalist specializing in women's issues. She started her career at the Hindustan Times. From 1989 to 2000, she was Editor of Women's Feature Service (WFS), an international organization that distributed news relating to social issues of third-world women. She currently writes a column for the Sahara Times, an Indian newspaper.She has been active in the women's movement and has worked with women's groups across the country. She is Secretary of the Delhi Union of Journalists.

Educated at Convent of Jesus and Mary, New Delhi, and Miranda House (Delhi University), Madhok lives and works in Delhi. She is married and has two children.
