Graeme Fullwood, Self Portrait, 2012

Graeme Fullwood is a North East England documentary photographer and blogger. Currently working at University of Sunderland, Graeme is working with the Northern Centre of Photography to ensure Art and Design research groups have a web presence to socially engage with potential future partners.

Graeme has spent the last three years exploring identity, history, family relationships and the mundane. Using photography and video, Graeme has explored themes which have been most dominant in his life.

His work shows personal interest in life, through his own personal experiences and those of others. Working with images allows him to gather and produce a document which narrates the world in which he lives.

Based in Sunderland, UK, Graeme has experienced first hand the major shifts due to Governmental and cultural changes. These are subjects which effect him most and wishes to document to share with the world outside of the North East.
