Demetri Marchessini
Demetri Marchessini (born 20 July 1934 in Athens) is a British businessman and polemicist.
Education
He was educated at Williams College, Massachusetts, and at Harvard Law School, Harvard.
Publishing
He began publishing in 1997. Modern Myths: And The Realities Behind Them [1] argued against several politically correct beliefs. Women In Trousers [2] was a photo-essay on women's fashion which aroused much controversy when it was published, which received critical coverage in several newspapers[3][4][5]. A later book, Scams & Hypocrisies[6] looking at perceived popular myths.
Marriage and family
Married, in 1961, Lucinda, the daughter of Mrs Owen Roberts. They lived first in New York, and then in London with their four daughters, Lucinda, Cassandra, Atalanta and Tatiana.
