Nawan Shehr

Nawanshehr is a town in Pakistan, near Abbottabad city on the way to the tourist resorts of Thandiani and Nathia Gali. Nawanshehr features some of its own tourist attractions, such as

  • Ilyasi Mosque, a beautiful building housing springs of water and ponds with goldfish, and
  • Naray (spring of water), the public bath for people of Nawanshehr.

The language spoken in Nawanshehr is Hindko.

Schools and colleges in Nawanshehr include Degree College for Girls, Medical College for Girls, Higher Secondary School for Boys, and Higher Secondary School for Girls.
