Hollyhock Retreat

Hollyhock Retreat is a retreat located on the sunniest southeastern beach[1] of Cortes Island, British Columbia that offers a range of personal and spiritual development programs[2] on topics including wellness and wisdom practices, arts and culture, business and leadership development[3], relationships, nonviolent communication, Tibetan Buddhism, yoga, holistic health, integrative medicine, kayaking, leadership,[2] and social ventures.[4]
It was created in 1982 on the grounds of the former Cold Mountain Institute.[4]
Political links
The CEO is Dana Bass Solomon,[1][5] and the current volunteer president is her husband, Joel Solomon,[4].
