Heatonville, Missouri is a small, unincorporated community on former U.S. Highway 66, now Missouri State Highway 96 in Lawrence County about six miles north-east of Mount Vernon.

The town was founded in 1868 as the town of Heaton and later renamed. The coming of Route 66 brought numerous businesses to life in Heatonville until the building of Interstate 44 to the south, which brought the town down to a single business and a few homes.
