Oren Laurent is the CEO of binary option trading brokerage, Banc de Binary.[2][3][3][4][5][6][7]

Media refer to Laurent as a leading authority on binary options and has been interviewed and quoted on the topic of finance in numerous media outlets including in The Independent,[8][9] MSN Arabia,[6] The Times,[10] and World Finance TV.[3][11][12][13] Laurent is a financial contributor to the Financial Mirror.[14]

Early life and education

Laurent was born in New York, New York.[5][15] In an interview with Investment Underground Laurent said that as a child he would "rather watch the financial news than Nickelodeon."[5]

Following his studies in economics at New York University, Laurent worked as an associate at NAF Hedge Funds and Infinity Private Investment Funds.[8][5][16][17][18]


Banc de Binary

In 2008, Oren Laurent founded Banc de Binary, a binary options brokerage trading platform.[15][8][5][10][4] Laurent advocates for binary options regulation by the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission, and Cypress Securities Exchange Commission.[4][6][10][19][14]


Awards

In 2012, the London Stock Exchange awarded Laurent the 2012 World Finance Award.[20][8][21]


Personal life
