Smotrych (Ukrainian: Смотрич) is an urban-type settlement in the Dunaivtsi Raion (district) of the Khmelnytskyi Oblast in western Ukraine.[2] The town's population was 2,102 as of the 2001 Ukrainian Census[2] and 1,912 in 2011.[3]

The settlement received the Magdeburg rights in 1448 and was granted the status of an urban-type settlement in 1960.[2] The town lies on the banks of the Smotrych River.
