oscar Terán (Panama July 22, 1868 - 1936) was a Panamanian lawyer that served in the Colombian senate when Panama was still part of Colombia.
He wrote the following books:

Oscar Terán (Carlos Casares, 1938 - Buenos Aires, 21 de marzo de 2008) was an Argentinean philosopher.
Biography
He left his natal city in 1959 to study philosophy in the Buenos Aires University where he devoted himself to the study of history with the help of his teacher José Luis Romero. In 1976 he was exiled in México because of a militar dictatorship. He was the author of numerous books and also a militant of the Marxism in the 1960's and 1970's, and the Alfonsinismo in the 1980's.
