P58 is an Genetic SNP that marks the subclade J1a2b (J1b2 on ISOGG formerly J1c3) in Haplogroup J1[1] P58 is tested for porpuses of Genetic genealogy.

J-P58 is by far the majority of Haplogroup J1. Most Arab J1 is in J-P58 [2][3]
