Hello: I've been a reader and user of Wikipedia for a very long time, but began to contribute only recently (November 2005). I have an extensive background in the Canadian publishing industry (including as an editor and writer), and my interests are far too many to tally. Let's just say they lean heavily towards History, Literature, and the Arts, and far away from Maths and Sciences (though, ironically, my first editing contribution here was to a science-related article). I wrote and contributed my first article here because I could find no information on the subject, and so figured I'd just do it myself.
