Miragoane is a coastal town in western Haïti. It is regarded as one of the major ports in the trade in used goods. Bales of used clothing, shoes, appliances and used cars arrive at the port from Miami and other U.S. cities. Local merchants in this informal sector buy, sort and resell used goods, thus dispersing them around Haiti. It is located at around 18°26′60″N 73°5′60″W / 18.45000°N 73.10000°W / 18.45000; -73.10000 Coordinates: latitude seconds >= 60
