changed meters per second to kph. iirc kph is preferred to mps in baseball outside the U.S. Drunkasian 2005-05-29 16:58 (EST)

That may be, but kph is not an acceptable symbol. Gene Nygaard 02:55, May 30, 2005 (UTC)

Infobox

If no one objects, I will replace the current infobox with Template:Mlbplayer. You can see an example of this template in use at Torii Hunter. There are plans to use it for every current MLB player as a part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Baseball players. If you have any suggestions for the template or just want to help out with the project, leave a message on the project's talk page. android79 01:50, July 28, 2005 (UTC)

  • Since I haven't heard any objections, I will go ahead and make this change. android79 02:22, July 29, 2005 (UTC)

Horrible biography... I don't see how you can say most of his career he was a long-reliever, when he's only been in the majors about five years and half that time he has been one of the most dominant starters in all of baseball (not to mention that he will NEVER go back to the bullpen). He was always meant to be a starter, it was just a matter of time before this happened (the Twins are notorious for developing young starting pitcher prospects by using them in the bullpen first, the most recent example being Francisco Liriano). Plus his change-up is actually a circle-change, and there should be some mention of how it is the best change-up in baseball. Cy-young winner! No mention of this in the biography?
