Gerald W. "Gerry" Hyland is a member of the Fairfax County, Virginia Board of Supervisors. A Democrat, he has represented the Mount Vernon District (which includes Mount Vernon, Lorton, and Belle Haven[1]) since 1988 (six four year terms). He served in the United States Air Force for 30 years, six of which on active duty, and four overseas. [2] One of four children,[3] Hyland was born and raised in Holden, Massachusetts[4]
