Sofi Bonde
Sofi Bonde is a Swedish pop singer, songwriter, actress.
Sofi was born in Gothenburg, Sweden, moving to Stockholm at the age of eight. She gravitated towards music early in her life, inspired by her father's interest in classical and dixie-land jazz piano.
At seventeen, Sofi left Stockholm to explore the world outside Sweden. She moved to Paris and began working on her first demo. While back in Sweden for a visit, a chance meeting with guitarist Micke Nord of Roxette at a party resulted in a record deal and her debut release with Independet Records (Bonniers). It contained the singles "Back in Your Arms", "Hey Boy" produced by Steve Mac, and "Little Things" which was number 1 on Swedish national radio P4 for three months summer of 2000.
In 2006, Sofi released Fighting Gravity on Subatomic Records. It features the songs "Fallout" and "Thing For You", which have appeared on the MTV show The Hills, USA's "Covert Affairs" and "The Vampire Diaries".
Her music has been heard on many television and movie releases including MTV's "The Hills", "The City", CW's "Melrose Place", and feature film "When In Rome" starring Kristen Bell.
Sofi is currently (summer 2012) in Stockholm working with the release of the debut album Heart Machine Service. First song "Get you" was made public June 2012.

Biography
Hon har skrivit skivkontrakt med Atlantic Records i USA och fått sina låtar placerade i både Hollywoodfilmer och TV-serier som Entourage, Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, 90210 och Melrose Place. Nu är Sofi Bonde aktuell med ett nytt album: Heart Machine Service. Den första singeln "In an ambulance" finns tillgänglig på Itunes och Spotify.
Sofi Bonde spelade in sin första demo i Paris, men sitt första skivkontrakt fick hon med Independent Records/Bonniers i Stockholm. 2001 släpptes hennes första album "One". Legendariske låtskrivaren Steve Mac (One Direction, Leona Lewis, Westlife, Il Divo) producerade spåren "Back in your arms", "Hey boy" och den första singeln "Little things" som toppade på Sveriges Radio P4 under tre månader sommaren 2000.
Efter samarbetet med Steve Mac fick Sofi ett förlagsavtal och flyttade till London för att fortsätta utvecklas som låtskrivare. Hon reste ofta till USA för att jobba med amerikanska låtskrivare. 2003 flyttade hon till New York för att ta ännu ett steg i musikkarriären. 2006 släpptes Sofis andra album "Fighting gravity".
De nya låtarna uppmärksammades i Los Angeles och hon erbjöds en egen realityserie på MTV. Hon tackade vänligt nej. Men hennes låtar blev placerade i TV-serier som The Hills, The City och Newport Harbor. Sofis framgångar gjorde att Atlantic Records erbjöd henne ett skivkontrakt. Framgångarna fortsatte och hennes låtar placerades i succéserier som Entourage, Gossip Girl, The Vampire Diaries, 90210, Melrose Place och Hollywoodfilmen “When in Rome”.
Trots genombrottet i USA gjorde hemlängtan att Sofi 2011 bestämde sig för att flytta tillbaka till Sverige. I Stockholm inspirerades Sofi av svensk electropop och började skriva nytt material tillsammans med producenten och låtskrivaren Kim Wennerström som hon även jobbat tillsammans med under USA-tiden. Resultatet av samarbetet är nya albumet "Heart Machine Service" och första singeln ”In an ambulance” (”Självklar, snygg och direkt syntpop”, Joacim Persson Aftonbladet) finns nu tillgänglig på Spotify och iTunes.
