Live Earth: Free advertising, anyone?

[edit]
  • Live Earth has been hijacked by commercial companies as a means of selling their products alongside an actual real ethical issue. Philips, Chevron and DEFINITELY Microsoft have abused the live earth internet coverage as a means of selling music through their waning music store, plugging a dying Zune, and throwing in as many references to their products which, hypocritically would INCREASE the carbon footprint, primary emissions, photochemical smog and even to some extent provide their initiation energy. Even with this awareness, such hypocrisy by both bands plugging their singles and albums diminishes the efforts to reduce global emissions and climate change. Supporting a literally hot issue doesn't hide guilt.
