Elizabeth Cobb Middle School is a public middle school in Tallahassee, Florida. It is the oldest public middle school in the city. The school completed construction in 1954, originally consisting of only 6 classrooms and hosting only the seventh grade. A gymnasium was constructed in 1965, and a graphic arts building and a new classroom wing were added in 1977 and 1985, respectively. Two more wings were added in 1992 and 2008.[1] As of 2008, there were 798 students enrolled.[2]

The school's mascot is the Cub, and the school colors are Purple and White.

Cobb is notable for its science and mathematics magnet program. Cobb has also won local, state, and national awards in the arts.[3]
