Contested deletion

This article should not be speedy deleted as being recently created, having no relevant page history and duplicating an existing English Wikipedia topic, because... I thought to manage a separate wikipedia article for Johnny Depp's filmography because many other actors, out there have one. Giving examples of Shahrukh's filmography & filmography article of Tom Cruise so the article should not be deleted.

I shall be highly oblized to you for this act of kindness.--Napsync (talk) 13:54, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, to be quite honest, I'm not sure why Tom Cruise has a separate filmography article, either. I'll look a little more deeply at this, though. Writ Keeper 14:14, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, after looking at it, there do seem to be a lot of filmography-type articles, and Depp's list is certainly long enough to warrant it (I assume that this is all just to save the space of a long list on the main page). I've corrected the title to bring it in line with the others, and done some editing. The only thing is that the intro sentence should probably be expanded; I took a look at a few random pages in the Filmographies category; and they all seemed to have quite a bit more detail in their introductory paragraphs. Check out Samuel L. Jackson filmography for an example of what I mean. I'll probably try my hand at writing one in a while, but I may not get around to it for a while, so feel free to do it yourself if you'd like. Thanks! Writ Keeper 14:23, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Quite confused at the Box Office column.

Why is it that the Box Office figures on this article is significantly lower than the Box Office figures on the actual movie articles? Does this article only take the US Box Office into consideration? Surely it should include a global Box Office figure? Take Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl as an example. It has $654m whereas this article has it listed as $305m. Sorry for the bother. Cathairawr 14:38, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • You're quite right, friend. I will have to change them to worldwide rather than US and for those that are only US I shall note them somewhere. Thanks for clearing that up. --Aquascape (talk) 19:29, 7 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Television Credit from TAL?

Johnny lent his voice to This American Life - Season Two Episode 1 - “Escape." A boy who is unable to move on his own or speak uses Johnny's voice to speak for him. [1] 75.72.165.43 (talk) 19:01, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
