The Bangalore-Chennai Expressway is a proposed expressway between the cities of Bangalore, (Karnataka) and Chennai,Many industrial hubs have planned to start up thier next projects near banavaram which already holds a TVS brakes manufacturing unit and also Mahindra, Bajaj and Nissan groups have planned to start up thier new plants in mere future. Secretly realtors have already started investing in places near walajapet(banavaram, Keezhveeranam) as these places have been declared to be the next industrial hub like as sriperambadur, also japan is keen on this road as transportation costs to harbour is very less (Tamil Nadu).[1] This expressway will be 240 km long and will be designed for travelling on high speed of 120 km an hour. It will cost around 3,840 crore (US$460 million).[2][3] It will be 6 laned from Hoskote to Sriperumbudur.[4]
