The Kurowie was a Polish knighthood family, originated from Mazovia in medieval Poland.[1]

History

The family was firstly mentioned on 2 May 1239 in Tabulatorium Actorum Antiquorum Varsoviense Maximum. Bolesław I of Masovia confirmed the purchase of the village Doiasdovo[2] by Cur'a and Józef for 7 Grzywna.[3][4]
