Please can anyone help me with the phenomena that have operated to produce these two features, photographed on East Beach, Lyme Regis - June 2006? The rocks were among boulders that were strewn along the beach, after rock falls from the Blue Lias cliffs. The first image looks like sunbaked clay, that has since become compressed and consolidated into rock. The second object was about 1 to 1.5 metre diameter. I don't know whether they may be of value in the Project. Thanks - Ballista 20:27, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
