Baruch Baschwitz (1765-1836), geboren in Frankfurt/Oder, gründete zusammen mit Wolf Heidenheim 1799 in Rödelheim eine Druckerei für hebräische Gebetsliteratur. Die letzten Lebensjahre bis zu seinem Tod verbrachte er in Rödelheim.
