So here are some of the photos from our hiking trip that i thought were the most relevant so far. We can take about the entrance, the no biking, the close proximity to the riparian area, the halfway point, the issue of erosion and some hazards on the trail.

Hey Giancarlo, here are a few of mine as well. I feel like we should be consistent with the descriptions, once we decide which ones to include in the page.

Here is the website I was talking about to reference externally. It includes a lot of relevant information for hikers and pictures, maps etc. --> http://www.vancouvertrails.com/ A few trails from Lynn Valley are included in their list: http://www.vancouvertrails.com/trails/lynn-loop/ http://www.vancouvertrails.com/trails/lynn-peak/ http://www.vancouvertrails.com/trails/baden-powell-lynn-canyon-to-grouse/ http://www.vancouvertrails.com/trails/rice-lake/ Lauraje (talk) 01:29, 23 February 2014 (UTC)

Okay so below here we'll start the template for the actual page, so any pages you think would be good to source from should be put above.

Lynn Valley Loop Trail

Overview

The Lynn Loop Trail is situated in Lynn Headwaters Park in North Vancouver. It is an estimated 1.5-hour trail, 5.2km (lynn valley life) walk that guides hikers through the forest and then back down along the beautiful, swift waters of Lynn Creek. This is comparable to a slightly vigorous leisurely walk in which you are also able to enjoy the fresh water, mountains and forest of North Vancouver.

Access

First, to access the Lynn Headwaters Park entrance, you will walk or drive your vehicle to the end of Lynn Valley Road. From the parking lot and walking towards the information board you will find that trail conditions will be posted alongside a map of the trails (along with descriptions). Picnic tables are also in close proximity should you feel the need to have a snack before you reach the bridge and begin your trail. As you walk over and past the rushing water of Lynn Creek with Mount Fromme in the backdrop, to your left there will be wooden fence where the Lynn Loop trail begins. This path parallels the Lynn Creek waters for roughly two kilometers, transitions deeper into the forest where a brief steeper part of the loop trail is met. Continuing the trail, the incline returns to normal and you will have returned to the bridge area.

(note to self: add travel information on public transit and car, also make sure to note that there is no biking on this trail and that there are many dog owners who use it)
