Ansar ul-Mujahideen

Ansar Al-Mujahideen is a banned militant group operating in Pakistan. The group is affiliated to Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan. The group mostly carries out attacks against Pakistan Armed Forces, politicians as well as against polio vaccination teams.[1][2] Its members are largely Uzbek and operate from Waziristan. [3]

Major Attacks

  • Oct 16, 2013, Israr Gandapur, Provisional Law Minister of KPK was killed in a suicide bomb attack while greeting people meeting him, Ansar Al-Mujahideen claimed the responsibility.[4]
  • Oct 13, 2013, The group claimed the responsibility for the suicide attack on a convoy in Wana that killed two security officials.[5]
  • Dec 18,2013, An explosive-laden truck hit a major security post in North Waziristan, killing the five soldiers and injuring more than 20, The group claimed the responsibility[6]
  • march 05 2014 attacks on pakistan army . shaheed 6
