Confusing ribbons

In season 5 episode 7 ("Rouge"), Harriet appears as Lt. (j.G.) with two ribbons on her uniform. Those are the two wich can be seen on the photo used by this site. As far as I can tell, those two ribbons indicate the award on the National Defense Service Medal and the Naval Reserve Medal. Wich is confusing in two ways:

1. The award of the Naval Reserve Medal was discontinued in 1958 so Harriert coldn't have been awarded with it.

2. The ribbon bar shown here doesn't include the ribbon mentioned above.

3. In S08E22 the what-so-ever red ribbon, wich I thought would be a Naval Reserve Medal (but in fact, could be a misplaced Legion of Merit Ribbon, too) has been replaced by a Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon. And the National Defense Service Medals shows a bronze star device. And well, none of these two changes find entry at the ribbons shown on the article page...
