Jodhpur National University (JNU) is a private university created under the state government private university act. The University is situated in the suburbs of Jodhpur and is housed in a campus of 30 acres. The university has more than 13,000 students. It is recognized by UGC under Section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956.[1]
Convocation
Asha Bhosle is the recipient of the first Doctor of Literature (D.Litt.) of the Jodhpur National University. [1]
In 2013, University granted Amitabh Bachchan the degree of Doctor of Literature(D.Litt.) for his exemplary contribution to Indian cinema.[2][3]
Collaboration
Jodhpur National University is the first University in Rajasthan that has signed a training and placement agreement with SAP AG,Germany Leader in ERP solutions.[4] Specially collaborated

Job Fair
Jodhpur National University is organizing job fair from 2010 every year with the vision and mission of “Making India Employable” via Dream Endurance.More than 2000 students of different parts of India are employed via University Job Fair.[5][6]

FacilitiesLibrary The University library is well stocked with a wide range of around 90,000 books in all core, functional and applied areas of study. Leading Journals both National and International, Newspapers, Current Magazines etc. are subscribed regularly for a quick dissemination of information to students. Games & Sports The campus has ample space and provision for various indoor and outdoor games like cricket, football, basketball, badminton, volleyball, aerobics, carrom-board, etc. Hospital A hospital with 250+ beds and adequate diagnostic facilities such as X-ray, blood test, ECG etc. with competent doctors and staff is in place to take care of the physical health and welfare of all students & Staff. Bank Branch of The Bank of Rajasthan Ltd. in University campus with ATM Facility is available to students. Transport University has its own fleet of buses, cars, vans for conveyance of staff and students. Hostel University provides separate Boys and Girls Hostel accommodation facilities at affordable charges. Students can opt from Air Cooled/Air Conditioned Rooms having necessary amenities. References
