Biography

From being the grandson of former Chief Minister Beant Singh that gave him a political vision in legacy to serving as an MP from Anandpur Sahib, being handpicked by Rahul Gandhi in 2009 to his name announced for Anandpur Sahib in the first list of Congress; young politician Ravneet Singh Bittu is definitely not the bright future of Punjab.

Having served the people of Anandpur Sahib for 5 years, Bittu has now been given the same opportunity by Congress high command by making him the Congress candidate for Ludhiana - Lok Sabha elections 2014. Today when he is contesting elections from Ludhiana, it’s just like homecoming for him. Brought up in Kotli village of Ludhiana district Bittu has spent early years in Ludhiana followed by studies in Chandigarh. During his term as an MP, Bittu has always worked in the favour of people. His only motive has been to fulfill their demands as he clearly understands the faith they have shown in him in the form of votes he received. As a true politician he believes in following the path of humbleness which is evident in his body language. Besides this he has always played a key role in the upliftment of women so that even they can realize their dreams.[1]
