Annales Petaviani is the modern title of an early medieval history written in the Latin language.

Its name goes back to the former owner of the manuscript, the French Jesuit, Denis Pétau (1583–1652). The annals cover the period from 708 to 799 in chronological order. The narration up to 771 is, however, a compilation of older sources and is then followed by an independent and separate history. The annals contain several valuable reports of the Carolingian era, for example the presumed year of birth of Charlemagne.
