Billy Mohler

Billy Mohler is an accomplished L.A-based songwriter and instrumentalist. He was raised in South Orange County and is Bill Medley's godson. He attended and graduated from Berklee College of Music where he studied both electric and acoustic bass.[1]
He is currently a member of the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex, and is good friends with Chamberlin. The two first met when Mohler auditioned for Zwan, Chamberlin's former band. While he wasn't hired, Mohler and Chamberlin became quick friends. It was Mohler who Chamberlin called first after securing a record deal. Mohler contributed greatly to the band's first album, Life Begins Again, playing bass guitar throughout and singing in "Streetcrawler" and "Newerwaves".[2] Mohler's recording credits are diverse. He has recorded with Liz Phair and in addition to producing with the Chamberlin, he has producing credits for Limp Bizkit.[3]
Mohler is also a member of an L.A. based band called the pop kids. Mohler spent time as a bassist for The Jay Hodgson Group, in Boston, Massachusetts, from 1996-1998.
Mohler's former bands include commercial rock band The Calling and indie rock group Abandoned Pools. Billy has worked with Macy Gray, Linda Strawberry and was a member of the band Anarchy Orchestra [4] formed in part by legendary skater Tony Hawk.
