Royal HaskoningDHV is an international, non-listed engineering consultancy firm that resulted from the fusion of Royal Haskoning and DHV in 2012. [1] Headquartered in Amersfoort, The Netherlands, it has 100 offices in 35 countries, employing more than 8,000 professionals worldwide. It is active in diverse fields such as planning, transport, infrastructure, water, maritime, aviation, industry, energy, mining and buildings. It is one of Europe's leading project management, engineering and consultancy service providers, ranking globally in the top 10 of independently owned, non-listed companies and top 40 overall.[2]

History

The two merged companies have a large history of engineering consultancy: Royal Haskoning was founded in 1881 and DHV in 1917 in The Netherlands.
