K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers, Inc. unites retailers, manufacturers, foundations and individuals to provide people impacted by poverty and tragedy with new merchandise, effectively distributed through a network of agency partners to improve the well-being, self-esteem and dignity of at-risk families and individuals.

K.I.D.S. was founded in 1985 by children’s industry executives, and in 2005 Fashion Delivers was created by adult apparel and home fashion professionals in response to Hurricane Katrina. In 2013, our organizations merged in order to gain synergies and serve the full family unit. Our newly formed organization, K.I.D.S./Fashion Delivers helps fight the challenges of poverty by using our network of retailers and wholesalers to provide new product - including apparel, accessories, shoes, home furnishings, toys, books, school supplies, and other items – to victims of natural disasters and families and individuals in need. [1] The charity receives no government support and is among the 200 largest charities in the United States.[2]

In April 2011, K.I.D.S. was featured in the Wall Street Journal's Donor of the Day section[3]
