CARCRAFT was established in 1951 in the United Kingdom, and is an independent group of used car hypermarkets. They currently operate from seven locations around the UK,

  • Rochdale (Head Office),
  • Newport (South Wales),
  • Sheffield,
  • Merseyside,
  • West Midlands,
  • Leeds
  • North East.

Each of Carcraft's sites comprise of an average 12 acre complex with a 100,000 square foot showroom.

Carcraft was originally founded by Frank McKee and the company remains under the control of his family, who are involved in the running of the business.

The company has attracted considerable controversy due to the cost of both the finance and warranty packages it sells, an example is provided in the BBC program listed in the external links.
