Raheja Developers, (RDL), formerly Raheja Developers Private Limited is an Indian Real estate developer headquartered in Delhi, India. It is well known in the business of constructing residential, commercial and hospitality projects and townships. Every Raheja project is designed with the highest ethics of Design, sustainability and luxury incorporated into it. The Raheja design team consists of over 20 seasoned architects, a lot of whom have worked with international design practices in the past. Raheja is the most awarded and adjudged best developer in India for the last three consecutive years.[1] Testimony to the fact are over 80 Design Awards bestowed upon for the best design/ architecture by organizations such as International Property Awards,[2] CNBC,[3] Euromoney,[4] Golden Peacock,[5] NDTV Profit,[6] Brands Academy,[7] etc Today, Raheja is a trusted household name in India, known for quality construction, timely delivery & above all, a niche design sensibility because of their in house design strength. It's been awarded the first slum re-development project spread over 5.22 hectares at Kathputli Colony [8] near Shadipur Depot by Delhi Development Authority.[9] Not only this, the company is running two trusts in the NCR region, namely Krishna Mahesh Gayatri Sansthan (KMGS) [10] and Aryan Samaj, Sainik Farms Dharmarth Samiti that works towards uplifting the under privilege in society . Also as a part of its environmental initiatives, a sister concern of Raheja Developers produces wildlife films & TV series by the name of “Wilderness Days” on Doordarshan,[11] the national channel of India running since over an year. Another series, “Wild India Diaries” also comes on National Geographic Channel.[12] Both the series are meant to create awareness on Environmental Degradation, the actual state of Indian environment & wildlife which is the only initiatives by any Indian producer in this field.

History

Raheja Developers Limited was incorporated in the year 1990 by Mr. Navin Raheja, the first generation entrepreneur. Raheja Developers Limited[13] is amongst the foremost real estate companies in India. Built on a legacy of over 22 years of honored commitments, integrity, innovation and timely delivery of quality projects, Raheja is a name that today exudes trust.

Joint Ventures/Associations

Raheja Developers has collaborated with various international architectural & MEP Practices to execute some of the most challenging projects in India today. It works with some of the best contractors in the world to ensure clients receiving a high quality product, well in time like Aedas,[14] Callison, Lessard, Meinhardt,[15][16] WSP, Shapoorji-Pallonji,[17] L&T[18] etc. Two of its Joint development projects are in collaboration with Tata group.[19] It also own two Joint Venture Construction companies in India; Arabtec[20][21]- India Limited (Arabtec being the largest construction company in UAE and have the credentials of building Burj Khalifa- tallest building in the world); and ECC[22] Raheja (Engineering Contracting Company being amongst top 5 contractors in UAE).
