Sehome High School, the home of the Mariners, is a public school and a part of the Bellingham School District in Washington, United States. Sehome High serves students mainly from the southern end of the City of Bellingham.

History

  • September 1966: School Opens with only Junior, Sophomore, and Freshmen classes. Alma mater and fight song created [1].
  • June 1968: The first ever Sehome graduates leave Sehome.
  • September 1968: Sehome switches for semester to trimester based scheduling.
  • September 1969: Principal decided against open campus.
  • September 1972: Groundwork laid for Sehome computer network. Switched back to semester schedule.
  • September 1985: Recieved technology grant and bond and created computer writing lab with 250 computers.
  • April 2000: Culminating Project instituted under Principal Jim Kistner
