Czech Republic–Mexico relations

Relations between Mexico and either the Czech Republic or its predecessor Czechoslovakia have been important to both countries.

Czechoslovak head of state Václav Havel visited Mexico in 1990. This was the first Czechoslovak government head's visit to any Latin American country.[1]

Mexico maintains an embassy in Prague, which is located in Troja, a residential district north from the centre of Prague. The current ambassador of Mexico in the Czech Republic is Pablo Macedo Riba.
