Celebration itself should have its own article.

Obviously, many celebrations will be in the form of social gathering, holidays, and what not, but the aspect of celebration has a very special meaning in human behaviors.

One showing happiness and joy over an observation or event can exteriorize his or her emotions by celebrating. This festivity can take many form on the social-cultural context and the importance of reasons behind it.

For example, someone may be happy over success or harmony, and wish to celebrate on this. His or her behavior will sometimes correspond with others seen in social gathering, sacred events, or holidays, but the celebration is not any of them.

Anyhow, it's something to consider. Maybe generalizing the aspect of celebration with various examples may better demonstrate what I'm trying to explain. - Enigma55 (talkemail) 06:17, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
