Rajat Sharma is the Chairman and Editor-in Chief of an Indian Hindi news channel, India TV.

Awards

In 2009, he was acclaimed INBA entrepreneur of the year 2009 at the National Convention organized by Exchange4media.[1]

Controversies

His name appeared mid 2014 in a the attempted suicide case of one of his female employees Tanu Sharma.[2] Which is also a big controversy of misuse of media power.[3] In Tanu Sharma's case whole India TV is under controversy.[2] On July 2, 2014 Rajat Sharma sent legal notice to victim stating that allegations were false and reserving the right to seek damages.[2][4]
