This is an initial edit to create the MeraNaamJim user page. I have an MS in Physics, 1971, followed by a brief US Army experience, and then an engineering career based on computers: hardware, systems analysis, software design and maintenance for satellite tracking and cataloging systems; controller firmware for remote sensing, communications, and large mass storage systems. I am now retired. My interests are in electronics, advances in the sciences and technology - especially physics, cosmology, and issues of privacy and surveillance.
