context on WV state route articles
What sort of specific context are you looking for? I will be happy to dig up the requested info on the roads that I am familiar with. Cheers. youngamerican (ahoy-hoy) 16:18, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- It is not really clear what they are - roads/railways/major or minor etc - never have been to any of these places it is is not immediately accessible - just something to help out a general reader - particular one who has never been to West Virginia! Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 16:20, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. It probably slipped the creators mind about road vs railway, since commuter rail in the US is virtually non-existant outside of MAJOR metropolitan areas, but as an international encyclopedia that should be noted. I have worked on a few of these articles in the past and I will make adding the requested context one of my to-do projects. I will also inform some other editors that may know more about specific roads. youngamerican (ahoy-hoy) 16:25, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- Followup. After browsing some of the articles, I was reminded of some of the problems I had previously faced on the routes upon which I had worked. The creator of most of these articles tended to write them in a choppy manner and a limited pov. I'll see what can be done. Cheers. youngamerican (ahoy-hoy) 16:28, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- Great - this should help a lot - it is easy to forget other don't see with your eyes! Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 06:53, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

What do you think of the rewrite? I don't think it's very speediable any more. - Mgm|(talk) 09:46, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Regarding restore to my user space of Conservative Underground
Thank you. I believe that I can write a new article that will meet WP:WEB on more than one point. I just wanted to see what was there before, and if anything was salvagable, because I saw a comment in the previous AfD that "obviously a lot of work was put into it". (I guess that was a sarcastic comment.) My understanding is that the article is not protected from recreation. Let me know if I am mistaken about that so that I don't waste my time. It won't go into the main namespace without meeting WP:WEB. Crockspot 11:34, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Pictures

Yngwie lunchbox
Thank you for blocking this user. I have been marking his/her various created article for deletion for patent nonsense. Wildthing61476 15:19, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- No probs - he needed it! Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 15:21, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
On July 5th you deleted an article for Dan Gerhards. I believe the user who added this also added their picture and fake bio on Peabody Energy. I found no reference to "Dan Gerhards" Peabody Energy on google. I believe that it's a farce but felt that I needed a 2nd opinion before removing. Binarypower 16:41, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- Wow, that was quick. Thank you. Binarypower 16:44, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

still writing this page. it's notable, just let me finish working on it.--Twintone 16:45, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Danny Mendel, removed?
Not a joke, please explain? This is completely true, I would link articles about it only they are in Hebrew. For instance: [1]. The Bible sources are retracable, including all other information. I fail to see the humour. I had simply not yet finished the article. Kakugo 07:47, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Ok I guess there is no מענה here, I shall persist.
- This article was twice deleted by different admins and was not all in a form that was acceptable. See the guidlelines on article creation. Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 08:12, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- You contradict yourself. For once you state it is the content which is inappropriate and once that was addressed, you turn to attacking the form of the article. Can you please decide and tell me how I could prevent the removal of the article, as I do not wish to exert myself needlessly. Kakugo 09:29, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- I don't contradict myself at all thank you - the form of an article obviously includes its content! and any article has to be notable and of an acceptable standard - this was neither. There is not a lot more that I can say ! Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 09:42, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- I am sorry but this still does not answer the question. The form does include the attributes of the content and the content itself but not the idea behind the content. Let us put it in this manner; if Bernard Shaw had written the article, would it have been allowed to appear on Wikipedia? That is, apart from the form and superficial content, is the idea of the article valid for this website? Kakugo 09:54, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- It doesn't matter who wrote the article - are you suggesting that you are being picked on? The idea of the article is fine - it is its execution that is important - which comes back to my point above. Read the guidleines (which I posted to your talk page) - follow them and you should be okay - as long as you establish notability! Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 10:36, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- Cheers, thanks for your endurance. Kakugo 10:40, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

Mitchell Image
Hi there. Pr Mitchell is the head of a church which has about 1400 churches. The photo involved is often used on flyers and posters promoting revivals and conferences. I got the picture from http://www.waymanmitchell.com/ which holds no copyright on it. There are numerous other sites with this picture on them also with no copyright. Potters house 05:12, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Nick.
- You can't just pinch images from websites and claim there's no copyright! Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 08:41, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Help
My J L Clary page was deleted!!! Can you help? Potters house 05:35, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Nick.
- Quite right see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/John Clary - it has been afd'ed and speedied! Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 08:40, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Director in Finland; Marko Antila.
Hi Brookie,
Now I am back from vacation, and I would like to follow up on my entry of Marko Antila. At the moment his page is deleted, and I would like to make a new entry which follows the guidelines that you clarified for me in mid June. How should I proceed? Will you unlock the deleted page or should I re-create it myself?
Regards Juhmi
- I suggest that you create it as a sub article of your user page - here - Marko Antila - and then find a friendly admin to give it a look over. Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 13:18, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
Hi Brookie, now I have created the article, and the only friendly admin I know is you, so can you give it a look, and if needed advice me of any changes.
Regards Juhmi
Ignite Group
Not an advert. I live in Stockport and do not work for the group. Didnt say anything about the places apart from the names. why did you think it was an advert?DJ HEAVEN 16:06, 11 July 2006 (UTC).
- I have restored it but tag it as being possibly NN Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 16:08, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- Looking at this box, does this mean all beverages should be deleated from wikipedia? should all nightclubs, bars and late leisure companies too? in fact anything that doesnt fit into these categories? and why should hotels and hotel groups be included and not the late leisure industry?
Are you one of these people who has never gone to a nightclub in their life? Tell me that all the people who go to either the Restaurant and Bar show at GMEX, the barshow at Earls court and all the mixologist and late licenced opperators are too insignificant to be included in an online encyclopedia. tell me that!!!DJ HEAVEN 09:12, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

Grillifilms
Hi,
I followed up on Juhmi's earlier contribution related to Grillifilms, and as per the guidelines provided I believe that the latest version is to be published. Could you please help me in publishing it?
Regards Martin
Brookie - I believe you are persecuting me over the Ignite Group entry
- Don't be silly ! The afd vote will decide the matter - not me Brookie :) - a will o' the wisp ! (Whisper...) 09:37, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
RE: SO AND HONEYROOT
re So and Honeyroot:
Musicians and ensembles
There are a lot of bands, singers and other musicians and musical ensembles with articles in the Wikipedia (see Category:Musicians).
A musician or ensemble (note that this includes a band, singer, rapper, orchestra, hip hop crew, DJ, musical theatre group, etc.) is notable if it meets any one of the following criteria:
- Has had a charted hit on any national music chart, in at least one large or medium-sized country.[1]
- Yes - according to The Opposition website, the band were known in the United States, and were played on MTV and had a hit on the Billboard chartDJ HEAVEN 16:04, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- Has gone on an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one large or medium-sized country,[1] reported in notable and verifiable sources.

- Has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (i.e. an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster of performers, many of which are notable).
*** YES - Ariola Records, Virgin Records and Charisma Records (as the Opposition) and Parlophone EMI (as So)DJ HEAVEN 16:04, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
- Contains at least one member who was once a part of or later joined a band that is otherwise notable; note that it is often most appropriate to use redirects in place of articles on side projects, early bands and such.
*** YES - So were The Opposition and Honeyroot features members of Heaven 17 and ABC (who as you must know have their own infobox and a page for Eden the Cartoon characterDJ HEAVEN 16:04, 14 July 2006 (UTC)
