At Goldman Sachs, Kirk gained experience in derivatives, systematic trading and risk management.

Cantab Capital

Kirk’s fund Cantab manages $3.2bn, up from $30m at launch. It uses systematic computer models to trade in markets around the world.[3]

Personal life

Kirk is married with children and lives in Cambridge. A fan of professional cycling, he owns and rides a replica of a bicycle design used by Lance Armstrong to win the Tour De France, along with a track cycle owned by Sir Bradley Wiggins.
