The contents of the Suriname Toad page were merged into Common Surinam toad. For the contribution history and old versions of the redirected page, please see its history; for the discussion at that location, see its talk page. |
But it wasn't a canonical merger. This page used to be about the genus, so I sent it to Pipa (genus); most of the content here is from the old Suriname Toad which was functionally the species page. 4pq1injbok (talk) 14:16, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
It is described in the top description as being threatened by habitat loss, yet it is in the least concern category in the displayed graph. I think this sentence should therefore be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.171.162.195 (talk) 13:06, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
It might be useful to include that the females don't die after giving birth. I don't have any individually reliable looking sources, but my cursory search on Google supports me.

mating
The old page [1] made more clear the male's "movements" and egg fertilization. --96.233.93.162 (talk) 00:12, 20 May 2013 (UTC)
Kite
"Pipa" means kite in Portuguese. This is where the name comes from. Jgsodre (talk) 18:24, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
