Ewell Minnis is a village near Dover in Kent, England.

On the 22 February 1937, an Royal Air Force, Avro 652 Anson (K6158) was on an circular training flight from RAF Manston at night during an snowstorm. The aircraft was struck by lighting and shortly after the pilots lost control, the aircraft crashed into a field near the village killing three of four crew members on board.[1]
