Numbers on the list are getting sorted wrong

So it seems that in the list (mainly in the estimated population in slavery field) someone used . instead of , which I know is valid in some places but the list gets sorted wrong as a result. Can some setting be changed to fix that or is it necessary to change them all to commas?
